A black square graphic with "episode 10" across the top and "Convos with Kids" across the bottom in black, all caps font with white outline and teal drop shadow. In the center are two overlapping teal blobs. In front of that is a white conversation bubble with race, gender, lgtbqia+, mental health, poverty, and disabilities in red, orange, green, pink, purple, and blue respectively.

💥Trigger Warning💥: Slangs & terms that could be harmful are used in this episode.

Imagine a world where instead of telling your child “we don’t talk about race”, “don’t look at that houseless human”, “we don’t see color”, instead we sat down and had difficult conversations at an early age?

Welcome back to ADVOCATE ACTIVISM!

In today’s episode, we are talking about activism & children. First & foremost, we want to highlight INTERNAL work.

It isn’t possible to articulate the IMPORTANCE of activism/systemic racism & White Supremacy as a whole, without being able to do the internal work that it takes to recognize the ways in which, we as individuals have been affected by our own bias & White Supremacy.

If we can’t have RADICAL ACCEPTANCE within, how can we teach our kids to accept humans that aren’t like us?
